Day one - we dive into the heart of Pirin Mountain  

Route: Bezbog refuge - Popovo lake - Demirkapiyska pass - Mitrovo lake - Right Kraledvorska pass - King's Court peak - Tevno lake refuge

We meet at 9:00 a.m. at Gotse Delchev chalet and we take the chair lift to Bezbog refuge. Here we begin our trek among the granite giants and turquoise lakes of Pirin. First we will visit Popovo lake and climb to Demirkapiyska pass.

We then visit Argirovo and Mitrovo, where we will take a longer break to properly enjoy the views around us and to eat well.

Once we've replenished our strength, we begin our ascent to the right Kraledvorska pass. From the pass, we will also climb Kings' Court peak, where we'll have a great view of the Samodiv lakes and Jengal peak.

We finish the day with a descent to our favorite Tevno Lake refuge and a hearty dinner, that will be tastier than ever, especially after a day of such adventures!

Day two - Iconic peaks and epic panoramas

Route: Tevno lake refuge - Valevishki chukar peak - right Kraledvorska pass - Little Kamenitsa - Big Kamenitsa - Kamenishka doll - Begovishki pass - Belemetski lakes - Tevno lake refuge

For those most thirsty for adventure and views, the day will begin with a climb to Mount Momin Dvor at sunrise, to see how the sun's rays bathe the countless summits of Pirin.
Whoever wishes to sleep in, however, be able to do so, waiting for us to return from the sunrise climb, just in time for breakfast.
After breakfast, we will head to the right Kraledvorska pass to climb Little Kamenitsa peak and head boldly towards Big Kamenitsa itself! Climbing Kamenitza Peak is a memorable adventure, and the panoramas from the top are simply incredible! But we won't stop there!

We will traverse the ridge to pass through the Kamenishka doll, and from there we will descend to the Begovishka pass. From here we will descend to the beautiful Belemetski Lakes, located right at the foot of the giant Kamenitsa. After enjoying the view, a short climb takes us back to the shelter to have some delicious food and get ready for the next day's adventures!

Day three – a short adventure by headlamp and a unique sunrise...
Route: h. Tevno lake - Valevishki chukar - Mozgovishka pass - Prevalski lakes - Valevishki lakes - Jengalska pass - Bezbog refuge

We get up very early and in about 40 minutes we stand atop Valevishki chukar peak to watch the sun rise over the jagged spires of Jengala peak!

Energized by the sunrise, we lift our chins off the ground and descend back to the shelter to have breakfast. We then go to Mozgovishka pass, and head down to the Prevalski Lakes, and descend all the way to the Valevishki Cirque. Passing along the shores of the Valevishki lakes and enjoying the most beautiful view of Jengala and its needles, we will climb to Jengala pass and return back to Bezbog refuge, where our hiking adventure ends.

We then ride the chair lift down to our cars and head to one of the best local pubs to properly celebrate this weekend in the heart of Pirin!
