Day one – The marble giants of Pirin mountain
Route: Banderitsa Refuge - Kazana shelter - peak Kutelo - Koncheto shelter - peak Bayuvi Dupki - Kamenitishki cirque - Yavorov refuge
We'll meet at the parking lot of Banderishka Polyana – 09:00.
We will start with a hike through a scenic forest path along the Bunderishka River to reach the hut of the same name, and through centuries-old coniferous forests, we will begin our ascent to the Kazana shelter and the more alpine parts of the mountain!
We will pass under the majestic north wall of mount Vihren and climb the second highest in Pirin – Kutelo. From here we will start the most adrenaline-filled part of our journey – the traverse of the Horseback ridge!
Our heads may become dizzy, because the panorama that is revealed from these peaks of Pirin is unique! We will see the sharpest alpine riges of the mountain, as well as the whole of the Rila mountain range, completely spread out in front of our eyes!
At the shelter, renovated by the Mountain Guides Association, we will stop for a proper rest before we tackle the next challenges!
Bayuvi Dukpi peak awaits us! But also - the descent along the picturesque Kamenitishki cirque, all the way to Yavorov refuge - our stop for the night.

Day two - more adventures on the secret trails...
Route: Yavorov refuge - Pareva Polyana - Katsata - Dunino Kuche Peak
Waking up on the morning of this last day of adventure, we will, for the first time, admire the peaks from below instead of walking on their sharp ridges.
The first goal of the day will be Pareva Polyana - the starting point for ascents along one of the most exposed ridges in Pirin - Sredonosa and Koteshkia chal. We will have the chance to see their full majesty as if we were on the stage of an amphitheater!
As soon as we are satisfied with this view, we will head towards the Duninoto Kuche peak through a very adventurous path, and as soon as we climb it - we will also be able to see the greatness of the northern walls of the Kutelo and Banski Suhodol!
From the top, we will descend below Tsrna Mogila peak to take the path to the Caves area, above Bansko, where our Pirin odyssey will end.
Of course, before we leave, we'll celebrate properly with a nice meal at a local restaurant!
