Day one
Route: Avramovo train station – Avramovo village – Veliitsa peak – Ortsevo village
Elevation gain/loss: +500m. / -200m
Distance: 15 km

Meeting at 11:30 at Avramovo station, we first pass through the village of Avramovo, and then gain the exceptionally panoramic Veliysko-Videnishko ridge. For lunch we will stop at a nice meadow with a beautiful view, and in the afternoon we will climb Veliitsa peak and visit the refuge of the same name. At the end of the day, we'll do a leisurely descent to the village of Ortsevo, where we will spend the night in a cozy guest house.

Day two
Ortsevo village – Buntsevo village – Yakoruda – Avramovo station
Elevation gain/loss: +200m / -800m
Distance: 16km

We get up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy the magnificent view of Pirin Mountain! We will have a delicious breakfast with homemade jam and cheese, after which we take our packs and head to another unique Rhodope village - Buntsevo. Here, we'll stop for lunch at the local fish pond, and in the afternoon we will have a pleasant descent to the town of Yakoruda. Finally, we will board the Rhodope narrow-gauge railway and enjoy a short ride on its picturesque tracks to return back to Avramovo station.

- small medical kit - 2pcs elastic bandages, 2pcs plain bandages, emergency blanket, various sizes of adhesive patches
- hiking shoes
- spare socks - 2-3 pairs
- suitable clothes:
* comfortable pants with long legs
* thermal blouse and leggings
* fleece jacket
* raincoat or membrane jacket
* * windbreaker jacket
* down jacket or jacket with synthetic insulation - with a hood
- winter hat
- gloves - two pairs
– a buff, bandana or another type of head/ neck scarf - 2 pcs.
