We start the day with an ascent along the narrow snowy ridge of Malkata Kamenitsa Peak. From here, we begin a long, gentle descent into yet another unknown valley in the Pirin Mountains.
Surrounded by massive peaks with beautiful slopes, we’ll pass by Mitrovo and Argirovo Lakes, heading toward our next destination—Dzhano Peak. The ascent up its western slopes will give us a new perspective on the beauty behind us along our route, as well as a glimpse of the adventures ahead!
From the summit, we’ll descend back along our tracks toward Popovo Lake, alternating between gentle and steep sections—there’ll be something for everyone!
From the bottom of the valley, we’ll climb another 450 meters to Bezbog Peak to add this classic descent to our list of achievements.
